School of Energy


The center for environmental research and information Eco-sense is organizing Energy school to increase the capacity of the young members and volunteers, other NGO members, students from faculties of natural sciences and mathematics and technology.

The Energy school will last 1,5 month, with lectures once a week (total number of lectures is 10) in subsequent 6 weeks. The first lecture will be general overview, sources and distribution in electrical power system. Next 9 lectures will be focused on renewable (wind, solar, geothermal, biogas) and non-renewable (nuclear, fossil fuels, thermoelectric plants) energy sources. The lectures are combined with practical work. Lectures will be given by energy experts from Macedonia, working on these issues and a foreign expert. Place: Studio Ars in the centre of Skopje (next to Paleta) starting from 31st October (Friday) and next 6 Fridays from 18:00 to 20:00.

Application submission: until October 20, 2008.

All participants that successfully enrolled the school will receive a certificate.
