Municipality of Vasilevo declared as a GMO free zone

On Friday, 8th of May, Blagica Radeska from Eco-sense, Blazo Andonov from NGO Ecumena from Vasilevo and Dusko Gosevski from NGO Kalinka from Valandovo presented to the officials from the Municipality of Vasilevo the benefits of GMO free zones. After the presentation Vasilevo was anonymously declared as a GMO free zone by the council. This is a second GMO free zone in eastern part of Macedonia and seventh in the country.
