European Investment Bank Projects in Macedonia

There isn’t much information about the projects that have been/are financed by the EIB in Macedonia, maybe mostly because of its closed and non- transparent nature.

As seen from the table, EIB has been present in Macedonia since 1977 and has invested more then 200 million euros for the past 27 years mainly in transport infrastructure projects.

The web site ( www.eib.org ) contains very little information on these projects. Therefore, we advise you to contact Helen Kavvadia, +352 43 79 67 56, h.kavvadia@eib.org and request information both in English and Macedonian.
